Fiorentina insist that they don’t intend to sell Stevan Jovetic, but they will consider bids of over €30m for him.

The Montenegro international has been heavily linked with a move toJuventus over the last few days, but the Viola maintain that they have received no offer for the talent.

“He’s a player who has the potential to become a footballer like FrancescoTotti and we’re not selling him,” Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Pradetold Sport Italia. “We’ve said that for some time now.

“Saying that, we admit that there is an agreement with the player that should an offer which hits a certain figure arrive then we will sit down around a table and evaluate it.

“Up to now, though, we have never received an offer for him. Seeing as he is a top player, we will only considers bids which are over €30m…”

Speculation has suggested that the Italian champions have offered cash and the services of Alessandro Matri in return for the 22-year-old forward.

“We’ve never spoken about him with Juventus director general Beppe Marotta,” the former Roma official continued.

“Matri? He is a strong player, but he has a salary which is not within our parameters.”
